Alternatives and Alterations
It’s always a good idea to have alternatives.
A title that flashed into your mind in the wee small hours may seem perfect. But, in the cold light of day, it could be problematic. Not as great as you thought it was, at 3 a.m. Or unavailable, for legal reasons.
Having another title at hand – I suggest having two or three – is advised.
That way, you will have something to choose from. And, comparing the alternatives may spark off associations and ideas you might otherwise have missed.
As the story develops, be open also to making changes to the title, so as to reflect the true direction the project is taking.
Bear in mind that you can use any combination of the techniques outlined in my previous posts.

Here endeth the lesson.

Peace.
